These projects are support by our annual raffle(s), special community events, your generous donations AND the support of the Masonic Charities Foundation of Texas

College/Trade School Scholarships - For High School Seniors
Each year West Lodge awards ( 3 ) $1,000 Scholarships to local graduating seniors from our area high schools.  Along with each scholarship the student also receives the Louis B Lamar Medal & framed certificate.  The scholarships are formally presented to each winning student at their school's annual awards program by a lodge officer.

Cans-4-Education- Early Reader / Library Book Program 
In 2022 West Lodge donated $1,000 to each of the three local elementary school libraries.  West Elementary, Gholson Elementary and St Mary's Catholic Elementary.  During the previous 5-years, West Lodge has donated $7,500 ear-marked exclusively for each schools elementary school library for books and reading programs for 1st-5th graders.

Youth Team Sports- Community athletic programs
West Lodge supports area kids through teams sponsorship in the  West Youth Football League and/or West League Booster Club, the local Texas Youth League  Baseball sanctioned organization.  Different  from the scholarships & library projects , these sponsorship(s) are paid with earmarked donations from our members or through lodge operating funds.
